
Tao Yuanming (approximately 365-427), also known as Yuanliang, also known as Mr. Wuliu, privately nicknamed "Jingjie", was a poet, writer, poet, and essayist in the late Eastern Jin Dynasty and the Southern Dynasty in the early Song Dynasty. Han nationality, a native of Chaisang, Xunyang in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (now Jiujiang, Jiangxi). He worked as a minor official for several years, then resigned and went home to live in seclusion.
